Line
The main line. How individuals and small teams actually run agents in a workflow—not leaderboards, but setup, permissions, failures, and the repair. Deeper notes live in OpenClaw in Practice and Coding Agents & Agent Engineering.
Many people start using OpenClaw by setting up elaborate multi-workspace configs. Beautiful architecture diagrams. Empty workspaces. This reminds me of something my teacher used to say: bad students have the fanciest supplies.
A real incident postmortem: Gemini ran rm -rf in the workspace root and 11,583 files disappeared. What failed, how we recovered, and the safeguards we put in place.
After six months with OpenClaw, I care less about whether it can complete a demo and more about whether it can keep working reliably. Version 2.0 focuses on onboarding, resumable tasks, memory, interaction, collaboration, and permissions.
Agents are helping researchers run more work in parallel, while pushing human researchers toward judgment, verification, resource allocation, and risk management.
Hermes spent about 15 hours cleaning its own repository while cycling through 1,320 sub-agents. The bigger story is not how much code it deleted, but the shift from coding assistant to autonomous team lead.
Across more than 200 runs, Vercel turned recurring design-review feedback into guidance, shared styles, and deterministic checks so its agents would stop repeating the same mistakes.
The model is just the engine. What you really need to protect is the AI identity layer: memory, personality, tool habits, boundaries, and relationship.
AIPOCH medical research skill library for OpenClaw / Claude Code — covering evidence insight, protocol design, data analysis, and academic writing.
$0 hardware + $0 subscription + 100% local data: Turn phone recordings into structured notes automatically. 7 recording types, smart detection. Save $2000 over three years.
Chrome DevTools MCP lets AI control your browser directly. Multimodal Memory lets AI remember images and audio. Takes about 15 minutes to set up.
No port forwarding, no servers, no nginx. Cloudflare Tunnel + OpenClaw for zero-cost remote access to your AI Agents.
Every OpenClaw config concept maps to a management principle. Understanding these mappings helps you use OpenClaw better—and rethink what "management" actually means.
